Coach Adam was a talented 3-sport athlete during high school. He played football, basketball and baseball. It was on the diamond where he truly felt his passion for sports, earning recognition as an All-American and First-team all TJCAA pitcher during his time in JUCO after being a walk-on. He would work his way to receiving D1 scholarships at Chattanooga State CC/ Georgia State University, subsequently competing in the NCAA regional tournament. After college he would go on to play pro ball at the Independent league Baseball as a pitcher. He later decided to serve his country and joined the US Navy.
