Coach Nick was born and raised in Roswell, GA where in developed a passion for baseball. He started playing at Roswell Area Park and would go on to catch at Roswell High School. At the age of 16 he was recruited to play for nationally ranked travel team, East Cobb Yankees. After high school, Coach Nick would go on to play 4 years at Georgia Tech including being apart of the 2006 team that reach the College World Series in Omaha! After his playing days he transitioned into the Director of Baseball Operations for Georgia Tech, where he held the position for 13 years. In addition he would return to the East Cobb Yankees as an Assistant Coach where he would go on to coach several Major League Baseball players such as; Dansby Swanson, Joey Bart, Tyler Stephenson and Xzavion Curry.
